Templestowe Orchards has a permanent Respite Care room available, which can be booked for a period of 2 days to 4 weeks, or longer if required. The room is fully furnished with ensuite bathroom facilities. During your stay we will provide you with all meals, cleaning and laundry services. Assistance with showering, dressing and medications can be provided if required. This service provides prospective clients with:
- an opportunity to recuperate after hospitalization or an illness
- provides relief for a family carer
- allows family to go on holiday and know that their relative is safe and well
cared for
- and provides an opportunity to experience Templestowe Orchards before making a decision to become a permanent resident
A non refundable deposit of $100.00 is paid on confirmation of bookings (This amount is deducted off the overall fee) The current fee is $700.00 per week or $100 per day (for 4 days or less the daily total is $120 per day) This amount covers all costs during your stay except the telephone which is charged separately.
Veteran Affairs will cover the cost of the respite for eligible veterans.
