As a Resident of Templestowe Orchards Retirement Village I am delighted to share my experiences of Village life.
This Village is very attractively laid out with Independent Living Units and the Lodge, and these are surrounded by lovely gardens.
The Independent Units are well designed and maintained. They have a large lounge/dining room and two bedrooms. Staff are on call if needed.
The Lodge has a very spacious and bright dining room. All the meals are prepared and served by excellent chefs and staff. The meals surpass expectation.
Care is available for the Lodge Residents 24 hours a day by permanent caring staff who work together happily and in harmony. This results in a happy home.
The very busy Receptionist is always available to deal with any inquiries from Residents.
The Handyman is willing to meet any practical needs.
The Office Staff maintain all the business requirements.
Other available services include Pastoral Care, Medical/Doctor, Hairdresser, Podiatrist, Lifestyle Co-ordinator and a Bus service for shopping and trips.
This Village atmosphere reflects the very capable leadership of the Manager for which we are thankful.
The Village since its inception was established by the local Baptist Church and continues to operate and maintain it. The basic Christian principles on which the Village is built is portrayed through the satisfied and happy Residents. |
